You’ll learn about the impressive mobile app, competitive odds and low transaction limits. But we’ll cover the negatives, too, including a 2023 fine for breaching advertising regulations.
Our guide also explains how to sign up, what promotions are available and how quickly you’ll get paid. Finally, we’ll wrap up with some frequently asked questions about Bet Right.

IRPSX Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of BetTube Corporation Ltd, is the registered owner of the Bet Right brand. BetTube is a technology company and betting platform provider, founded in 2018 by Australian Anthony Waller, a professional punter-turned-bookmaker and businessman. He remains the majority shareholder today.
Although BetTube’s history dates back to 2018, Bet Right didn’t launch until 2021. It’s an online-only bookmaker, with no retail presence in the country.
Yes. Bet Right is licensed to operate by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission, but it also adheres to the South Australian Gambling Codes of Practice. However, it’s not entirely perfect.
In August 2023, the company received a $20,000 fine due to offering illegal odds boost promotions. The NSW Betting and Racing Act prohibits adverts and promotions that induce gambling, and acted accordingly.
Still, this appears to have been a one-off – there’s no record of Bet Right breaching any other regulations, either before or since.
With more than 20 sports, including a full horse racing and greyhounds product, Bet Right has all the key areas covered. Its specialist areas, as you might expect, are footy, rugby league and cricket.
A handful of esports are also available – League Of Legends, Dota 2 and Valorant being the highlights.
Bet Right generally offers excellent odds, but not the deepest market coverage. Take AFL games, for example – when researching this review, we found 20 to 30 betting opportunities for each fixture, compared to nearly 200 at Sportsbet.
The odds, though, were extremely competitive, with a margin of less than 5.5% for the bookmaker. That’s only slightly bigger than Sportsbet, TAB and Pointbet, who are consistently towards the top end for AFL games. It’s basically the same as Betr and Palmerbet, but less than Picklebet and Neds.
NRL matches tell a similar tale. The margin is also 5.5%, producing odds that aren’t much lower than Palmerbet, BetDeluxe and Sportsbet, and marginally better than Unibet, Ladbrokes and Neds. However, Bet Right had just 20 to 30 betting opportunities per game, compared to 120+ at Sportsbet.
Punters can build same race and same game multis, and it’s possible to combine these into one giant multi.
Cashout is also an option, while app users benefit from a comprehensive bet tracking and sports stats service. For now, though, it’s not possible to watch any live streams.
Next in this Bet Right betting site review, we’ll assess the various payment methods.
As you’ll see in the table below, there’s a fairly standard selection of deposit options, but you can only withdraw via bank transfer.
| Payment Method | Deposit | Withdrawal |
| Debit Card | ✅ | ❌ |
| PayID | ✅ | ❌ |
| Apple Pay | ✅ | ❌ |
| Google Pay | ✅ | ❌ |
| Okso | ✅ | ✅ |
| Bank Transfer | ✅ | ✅ |
The smallest deposit amount is just $5, though it’s $10 for Google and Apple Pay. To withdraw, the minimum requirement is also $10.
Payout requests are processed at 10am and 4pm, seven days a week, but payout speeds depend on the type of bank account you have. If it’s on the NPP (New Payments Platform) list, you’ll receive the funds immediately upon approval. Otherwise, payments could take up to 72 hours to clear.
Yes, Bet Right does have a sports betting app. There’s native software available for Android and iOS devices, and both are rated extremely highly by users.
In the App Store, more than 1,800 reviews produced an impressive score of 4.7* out of 5. Its Android counterpart fares even better, rated 4.8* out of 5 – though admittedly, there were fewer than 250 reviews at the time of writing.
Still, we concur with users that the Bet Right app is great. It looks fantastic, it’s easy to use and as far as we know, it’s completely free of bugs.
Due to Australia’s strict regulations around gambling advertising, Bet Right doesn’t offer any welcome bonus codes. There are a number of ongoing promotions for existing punters that you can view in your account.
We’re almost at the end of this Bet Right site review, but we can’t wrap up without a mention of the support channels. Get in touch via email, phone or live chat – the latter being your best bet for urgent issues, as it’s available 24/7.
There’s also a decent Help Centre – a large, searchable database of FAQs, accessible from a link at the bottom of the homepage. These are often pretty lightweight, but this one does actually answer a lot of questions.
While testing the live chat widget, I was pleased to see I didn’t have to wrestle with a frustrating chatbot. I was connected to a human agent roughly 60 seconds after providing my name and account number.
Your new account is open, but will remain restricted until you hit “Verify” in the top-right corner and begin the automated verification process. Once approved, you’re free to deposit and start using Bet Right.
Although you’ll certainly find Australian betting sites with more markets and sports to choose from, Bet Right offers a solid all-round product. Its odds are highly competitive on the most important games, including NRL, AFL and T20 cricket.
The Bet Right mobile app is excellent. It’s not just easy to use, but it runs smoothly and without glitches. What’s more, it has extra features compared to the website, like stats and bet trackers.
It’s not the best choice if you’re looking for promotions – though that’s not to say there aren’t a few good ones available. But the minimum transaction limits are reasonable, so are the payout speeds, and barring a minor blip, Bet Right has a good reputation.
The Bet Right brand is owned and operated by IRPSX Pty Ltd (ABN 41 087 708 898). That company is a subsidiary of BetTube Corporation Ltd (ABN 23 635 285 326) which was founded by bookmaker and entrepreneur Anthony Waller in 2018.
The Bet Right sports betting app is available at both Google Play and the App Store. Alternatively, follow the links at the bottom of the homepage to access either marketplace and install the app.
There isn’t a Bet Right promo code for new players, as welcome bonuses of that nature aren’t allowed in Australia. Log into your account to see the latest promotions, including a loyalty program called “Loot”.
Yes. You won’t find a Bet Right welcome bonus, but those with existing accounts can log in to see several ongoing promotions.
No, there isn’t a friend referral bonus at Bet Right. You can find affiliate referral codes, but these will not get you a bonus. Australia’s tight regulations prevent promotions that induce registrations, such as welcome bonuses.
To reset your Bet Right password, click the “Log In” button on the homepage, followed by “I have forgotten my details”. Enter your registered email address and date of birth, then hit “Send” to receive password reset instructions.
