Regulated by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, this is a 100% Australian owned bookmaker. Bonus Kingdom Pty Ltd (ABN 77 661 574 545) was founded in August 2022, launching TradieBET soon after in May 2023.
Although the website looks similar to several others, including BetReal and BetFocus, it’s actually a standalone enterprise. All of these sites make use of the same Punterstech platform, which is why they share a similar look and feel.
Yes. As I mentioned, it’s licensed by the VGCCC and its operations are also governed by the South Australian Codes of Practice.
In addition, Bonus Kingdom Pty Ltd – and therefore TradieBET – is a Class I member of the Victorian Bookmakers’ Association (VBA). That particular body guarantees payment on winning bets in the event of a problem.
Although TradieBET is perfectly adequate for most punters, it’s not the most comprehensive platform. It only offers around 15 sports, for instance, and the market coverage is a little thin compared to Australia’s biggest bookmakers.
An average AFL game offers around 50 markets, which is more than enough for your average fan. However, Ladbrokes, Neds and Sportsbet all provide four to five times as many betting opportunities.
NRL games tell a similar tale, with 44 markets at TradieBET, compared to around 200 for Neds and Sportsbet.
It’s also worth mentioning the lack of esports markets, live streaming and cashout. Or at least, if those things do exist, we couldn’t find them when researching this TradieBET site review.
When it comes to odds, TradieBET has some clear priorities. It bets to 106% on both NRL and AFL games, for example – two of the country’s most popular sporting competitions.
As you’ll see in the table below, a 6% margin is towards the competitive end of the scale:

However, as good as these odds may be, TradieBET isn’t so competitive in other areas. Its IPL cricket odds, for instance, are priced to 108% – better than some newer sites, but far behind the likes of CrownBet at 105%.
Similarly, it’s not the best for soccer betting, with EPL and Champions League matches priced around 114%. This is common with new sites – BetNova offers a disappointing 115%. But established brands like Unibet and Sportsbet price take a much more punter-friendly cut of just 5.5%.

To be honest, the selection of deposit and withdrawal options is pretty limited. Though we were happy to discover a low minimum transaction limit of just $10 for both.

TradieBET doesn’t charge fees, whether you’re depositing or withdrawing. And payouts rarely take longer than 24 hours to complete – unless it’s over the weekend, where you may need to wait up to 72 hours.
There certainly is a TradieBET sports betting app, both for iOS and Android devices. They’re pretty well-regarded by users, too – although the existing sample size of reviews remains fairly small.
For example, at the time of writing, only 67 of the 10,000+ Google Play downloads had chosen to leave a review. Still, those who left feedback produced a 4.3 out of 5 rating.
The iOS software currently has the exact same score in the App Store, from 103 reviews.
4.3 is a healthy-enough score, by the way. One of the highest we’ve seen for an Australian betting platform is 4.8 – that belongs to the Bet Right Android app.
Contrast that with the PuntZone iOS app, for instance, which is currently rated just 3.0 out of 5.
You may have noticed a section on the TradieBET registration for bonus codes, but don’t get too excited. This bookmaker doesn’t have a friend referral program, and these codes don’t make you eligible for a special welcome bonus.
Australia’s strict regulations forbid operators from offering promotions that could induce people to sign up and gamble. As such, these codes are just used to track affiliate referrals.

TradieBET offers a decent level of customer support, but it could be improved.
There’s no telephone number, for one, and the FAQ page is extremely basic. It’s searchable, but contains very few questions and answers that are actually helpful. You can’t find anything about deposit methods or payout times, for example.
Our dealings with the live chat agents have been very good, however. They claim the average waiting time is less than three minutes, and that genuinely does tally with our experience. It’s just a shame they’re only available from 9am to 10pm – don’t expect a reply outside of that window.
Similarly, you can send an email at any time of day, but you won’t get a response until the team starts work at 9am.
The site will now attempt to verify your details. Should this fail, you’ll need to submit documentation, such as a driving licence or passport. Otherwise, you’re all set to start betting.
There are definitely better platforms in Australia, but we really quite like TradieBET for what it is. As its name suggests, there are no airs or graces about this site.
It’s not claiming to compete with the country’s biggest names, and nor does it try. The odds are towards the top end for key events like AFL and NRL – good news for most punters. But if you’re looking for some obscure hipster market, this isn’t the site for you.
